Repentance is the only opportunity that God offers to everyone to be reconciled with Him, regardless of their past or the fault committed.
By returning to God, one makes the definitive choice to respect His Word and thus become a true servant.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE?

Confession consists of listing all one’s faults before God and asking for forgiveness. But it is very difficult, even impossible, for a human being to remember all the sins committed in the past.
Repentance, on the other hand, is broader and consists of acknowledging before God one’s condition as a sinner, asking Him for forgiveness, and then making Him the promise to live from now on in respect of His Word.

HOW TO REPENT?

- First, acknowledge your faults before God.

- Second, sincerely ask for forgiveness.

- Third, make a promise to God not to turn back anymore.

The key to repentance lies in the promise you make to God, who, in turn, forgives you by closing everything that sin had opened in your life.
